The IPS team leader Dr. Vassil Kirov gave a lecture on "The future of labour mobility in COVID-19 times: perspective from Central and Eastern Europe" at the online workshop organised by the newly established European Labour Authority - ELA (https://www.ela.europa.eu/about.html) in charge to  facilitate cooperation and the exchange of information between Member States with a view to the consistent, efficient and effective application and enforcement of relevant Union law. The presentation explored the impacts of COVID-19 on foru types of labour mobiliy (Labour migration, Cross-border work,Seasonal work and Posted work), underlined the massive increase in telework and platform work – as a ‘virtual’ labour mobility and identified three scenarios and their impacts on intra-EU labour mobility and provided recommendations for concrete actions.
